Travelling to Aberdour Golf Club
Aberdour Golf Club is ideally situated is the West of Fife, making it an ideal location for a golf holiday, one day outing or just a change of scenery! Aberdour is a small village with lots of character and history, and the golf club is less than a 5-minute walk from the high street. We are situated only 45 minutes from the Home of Golf, St Andrews, 30 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 1 hour from Glasgow.
By Train
Aberdour Station is situated nearby the main street and under a 10-minute walk to the golf club. Aberdour is on the main line between Edinburgh, meaning there are regular trains to and from the capital. For more information on the train timetables, please visit the ScotRail website HERE.
By Bus
The bus service stops on the high street and is operated by Stagecoach. The number 7 bus is the only bus that operates through Aberdour, which runs between Dunfermline and Leven, via Kirkcaldy.
Important Access Information
Access to the Golf Club is along a residential street with on-street parking. It is not suitable for large coaches. Parties are advised to use smaller 16-seater buses with trailer boxes, if needed.
If travelling by large coach it is suggested golfers and equipment are dropped off at the train station car park and walk to the golf club.
